Like every kid, I had a few dream careers. It wasn’t until I was 17 that I began scheming a career in real estate. Although I love what I do, and wouldn’t trade it for another occupation, these were a few gigs I’ve always considered my “dream job”:
⛳️ Pro Golfer: Ironically, I’m not much of a fan of playing golf recreationally, but if I were to choose a sport to play professionally, it would be golf. I love being outdoors, and the career longevity is the best there is. Plus, you get to travel the world, not just play within the US.
🎣 Fly Shop Owner: Fly fishing is my biggest passion outside of work and owning a fly shop has always been a dream of mine. Connecting with others over a hobby I love, and having the entrepreneurial aspect of owning my own retail business would be a fulfilling combination.
🏀 NBA Coach: Basketball is by far my favorite sport and as much as I love playing it, I believe coaching at the highest level would be the most fun. I appreciate the strategic side of the game, and have always enjoyed building relationships on and off the court. Plus, when you are coaching, your body stays in tact!
📡 Talk Radio Host: Nowadays, you would need a podcast too, but I’ve always enjoyed listening to AM talk radio. I still listen to hours of talk radio each day and enjoy every second of it. I find it to be an engaging medium, and very educational depending on the program.
Now back to real estate! 🤙
