Make a splash! 🏊

The Preserve at Peters Township's pool is summer ready! 🌞

Our outdoor heated pool is open from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM for early morning fun and peaceful night swimming. And just outside the pool, we have gas grills for residential use, a poolside lounge, and an outdoor bar! Spend a day with us, relax, and be sure to have fun! In the meantime, we have some special plans...

Come July, be sure to break out your beach towels, Hawaiian shirts, and pool floaties, because we're having a pool party! 🎉🎉🎉

On July 11th, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, we'll have popsicles at the ready for our tropical getaway themed party at the pool! We're bringing just a bit of Hawaii to you at home! Hope to see you there! 🌸😎🌴

Introducing Floyd the Black Cat, our pet of the week! 🐈‍⬛

Floyd is a rescue cat, and a resident here at the Preserve at Peters Township! This lovable lad has beautiful silky black fur, and cute little yellow eyes. He is a climber and likes to walk around in high spaces. Floyd is bit shy, but to people he knows, he's the best of best friends!

📕Fun Fact About Black Cats:
Unfortunately, Black Cats in particular are less likely to be adopted from shelters due to a long-standing superstition in Northern countries about them being tied to bad luck and witchcraft. However, the truth is that black cats are friendly, social, and make fantastic pets for families. Actually, in other parts of the world, black cats can be associated with positive changes. In France and Scotland, a black cat sitting on your doorstep can be thought to signify financial gain will be coming in one's life soon. In Germany and Australia, a black cat crossing your path is thought to bring good luck, not bad. And in Japan, it is thought that single women owning black cats are more likely to find love.

🐾This Paw-some pointy-eared pup is Dog of the Week!!! 🐾

Meet Gracie, the snuggly Shiba-Inu puppy. Katie from the leasing office recently welcomed her home and couldn't be happier! she's 5lbs right now, but will grow to be around 20lbs. Gracie has lots of energy, and loves playing with her teddy bear, chasing her tennis ball through the kitchen, and playing tug-of-war. Then after all that playing, she crashes for a nap, usually on her favorite blanket. She's eagerly exploring the world around her and absolutely loves meeting new people. Welcome home Gracie! 🐶✨

📘Fun fact about Shiba-Inus:
Shiba-Inus are not prone to excessive barking, HOWEVER, they do let out a "Shiba Scream" when they are in an intense state of emotion. These dramatic dogs will absolutely let you know how they are feeling. If they are unhappy with you giving them a bath, they'll let out a howling wail, and if they're incredibly happy to see their best friend at the dog park, they'll let out a ghostly shriek of delight. Then afterwards they'll simply carry on with their day as if nothing happened.
