Over the last few months, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside one truly special family through a season of massive transition. After the loss of a husband and father, their world shifted overnight, and being invited in to help navigate what came next was an honor I will always hold close.

This journey wasn’t rushed. It was thoughtful, emotional, and built entirely on trust. Together, with the support of incredible partners, we were able to create a path that gave her clarity and peace of mind, starting with the successful sale of the family home and ending with something that felt right for this next chapter.

And this week, we officially closed on both homes. 🤍

She is now settled into the most beautiful modular home in a charming 55+ community in Rocklin. Vaulted ceilings, gorgeous cabinetry, soft light, and warmth in every detail. The kind of place that immediately feels calm and comforting the moment you step inside.

What I didn’t expect was how hard it would be to say goodbye. The daily texts, the check-ins, the conversations that went far beyond real estate. When you walk with someone through grief, uncertainty, and new beginnings, you don’t just become their agent you become part of their support system. I will truly miss this family.

I am deeply grateful for the trust they placed in me and for the opportunity to help during such a vulnerable time. This is why I do this work. Not for transactions, but for people. For relationships. For helping someone land on their feet when life changes in an instant.

Over the holidays, I’ve been quietly working on a two-part transaction for one of the most wonderful families. After the unexpected passing of a husband and father, his kids reached out and asked me to help their mom navigate what came next. It was emotional, heavy, and deeply personal and I felt incredibly honored to be trusted during such a tender season.

With the help of some amazing investor partners, we were able to secure a phenomenal off-market offer on their family home, giving her peace of mind and stability when she needed it most.

Finding her next home hasn’t been easy, but this weekend, everything finally came together ✨

We just got into contract on the most beautiful modular home in the cutest 55+ community in Rocklin. And honestly… this place is nicer than most model homes. Vaulted ceilings, stunning cabinetry, beautiful molding…every detail feels thoughtful and warm.

I cannot wait for her to move in and begin this next chapter surrounded by comfort, calm, and a place that truly feels like home.

Every estate sale we take on has a story behind it. This one touched us deeply.

We were called by an out-of-state family who met with us briefly just before their loved one’s funeral. In that moment of grief, they handed us the keys and asked us to take care of everything else.

From there, we stepped in with full hearts. We organized and ran the estate sale, coordinated inspections, hired a landscaper, and brought in a housekeeper to ensure the home showed in the very best light. Within just a few days of hitting the market, we were under contract with multiple offers and even a backup.

Today, escrow is officially closed. 🏡💛 Our clients never had to worry about a thing, and that’s the heart of what we do — giving families peace of mind during life’s hardest transitions.

✨ Yesterday we closed on the sweetest Alta Sierra home!

This one was extra special for me. I’ve known the seller’s extended family for over seven years and have had the honor of helping them with a few different transactions along the way. When you’re working with people you truly care about, the pressure to deliver is about 100 times greater—but it also makes the win that much sweeter. 💛

This home wasn’t without its challenges—a steep driveway and one of the slowest markets in 25 years—but through trust, persistence, and teamwork we got it done. I’m so grateful the seller put his full faith in me. Together, we invested in all the right things—home inspections, a deep clean, and extra care to make sure the house showed at its very best.

I couldn’t be more excited for the seller and his beautiful new bride as they step into this next chapter of life together. Wishing them all the love and joy in their new beginning! 🏡❤️

Over the past few years, my heart has been quietly shifting… and now, it’s time to follow it fully. 💛

While I’ve loved helping people buy and sell homes, I’ve found something really special in our estate sale business. In real estate, you may work closely with someone for a few intense months — but often, you part ways and might not connect again for years. In contrast, estate sales have filled our bucket in ways we never imagined. 🛍✨

The connections we make, not just with the families who hire us, but with the loyal customers who show up sale after sale, year after year, have become something we truly cherish. There’s a sense of community, continuity, and shared stories that makes this work so meaningful.

Because of that, we’ve made the decision to transition Hustle and Heart Properties, Inc. to serve our estate sale clients who want to sell their home and past real estate clients exclusively.

Our estate sale business has grown exponentially, and it’s clear that my energy and passion are needed here full-time to help Matt scale and meet the demand.
