Happy Labor Day from Allegheny Realty Settlement! 🎉

Labor Day has been giving American workers a well-earned break since 1894. The workplace itself has changed a little since then!

From assembly lines to inboxes, work has come a long way. One thing hasn’t changed though - everybody deserves a day off to enjoy it.

Our office is closed in observance of Labor Day. We’ll be back closing transactions on Tuesday, September 8th. Enjoy the long weekend!

The National Association of REALTORS®'s Broker Power Hour recently tackled a topic that’s super relevant in today's real estate market --- AI and impersonation fraud in real estate transactions. Tyler Adams of CertifID walked through how these scams are evolving and what to watch for.

We’re big fans of CertifID and the work they do every day to help keep closings safe... especially ours! Wire fraud and impersonation scams don’t discriminate, they hit buyers, sellers, agents, and title companies alike, so we figured this was worth passing along.

Celebrating 10 years in a row as the Meadville Tribune's Best Law Firm the best way we know how... a team outing at the Erie SeaWolves game!

Extra special shoutout to our employee Brooke Feleppa's son, AJ, who threw out the first pitch, and to our employee Ashley O'Shurak's son, Hunter, who scored the big win of the night with an autographed ball from mascot C. Wolf himself.

🎆 America is turning 250 years old... that's a birthday worth taking a day off for! 🎆

Our office will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, so our team can fire up the grill instead of the copy machine. We'll be back Monday, July 6th, ready to help you close on your next sale or purchase.

Had a wonderful lunch with our friends at Stewart Agency Services Pennsylvania yesterday... and they brought some exciting news with them! Allegheny Realty Settlement was presented with the 2025 Pacesetter Award. We’re proud of our team and thankful for a partnership that keeps getting better every year.

(And yes, this is a staged photo of just the award. It turns out nobody in this office actually likes having their picture taken. The trophy was much more cooperative. 😄)

🏡🎉 NEW FACE ALERT at Allegheny Realty Settlement! 🎉🏡

Please give a warm welcome to Alan Schwab, our brand-new Real Estate Closing Coordinator!

A Meadville native, Alan graduated from MASH in 2022. He attended Marietta College and graduated this May with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Management. Oh, and he also picked up a Leadership Certificate while there, in addition to being on the lacrosse team for all four years. While we were over here struggling to keep one plant alive, Alan was apparently running on zero free time... we’re tired just thinking about his schedule! 😅

A few fun facts to get to know him:
🥍 4-time varsity letter winner in lacrosse at Marietta and spent two years as team captain
👦 He's the oldest of three boys, so he's had plenty of practice keeping things organized (and in line!)
🏈🏀🐧 Patriots, Celtics & Penguins fan. He wants everyone to know he's been riding with them through thick and thin; he is NOT a bandwagon fan!

🎣🦌 When he's not at the office, you'll probably find him out hunting or fishing.
Alan brings sharp communication and organizational skills to the table, and he's excited to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting our team so your closing goes off without a hitch.

We’re excited to introduce Chris Roth, who joined the ARS team back in February! 🎉 (Better late than never on the formal introduction, right?!)

Chris brings a strong background in client service and case management to the team, and as a Penn State Behrend Communications grad, you can count on clear, responsive communication from the start.

When he’s not helping clients navigate the closing process, Chris is likely on a baseball field. He’s coached for the past seven years and spends his weekends cheering on his kids, Caden and Makayla, in baseball, softball, basketball, and golf. Family time, hitting the golf course, and cooking round out the rest of his time.

Fun fact, he and his wife, Maureen, once appeared in a Gaslight Anthem music video, so Chris has some serious cool points. 🤘
