Let's say you decide to spend some money and go some place sunny for a week. Some place with a view . . perhaps at a different elevation than you are used to. You spend your days climbing and engaging in other activities involving considerable physical exertion, some adventure, and a measure of risk. Each evening, you enjoy a cocktail or something while you ponder your day's adventure. You feel you body become one with the porch swing while you watch the sun go down, and then sleep like you have never slept before. . . . You come away from your week feeling relaxed, fit, and tan. You have just had a nice vacation in the mountains.
Now imagine the same scenario except that someone has paid you money to do all of this. . . . You have just finished putting a roof on someone's house.
While we generally don't install roofs except for on what we have built, we do like to shingle a roof every now and then because sometimes it's tough to get away to the mountains for a week.
