Job Summary:

Provide data entry and accounting services with accuracy, perform customer service duties with politeness and professionalism, and manage a broad range of office tasks with thoroughness.

Duties:

Assist with handling customer service requests on the phone and at the office location.

Manage and process A/R and A/P.

Perform bank reconciliations.

Perform office-related purchasing.

Process tenant payments.

Advertise apartments and respond to inquiries.

Manage showings and perform the occasional in-person showing.

Maintain accurate and complete records. Document the flow of information from customers.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

General knowledge of computer use, printer/scanner use, and ability to perform basic operations with Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs and Sheets are a necessity.

Ability to apply appropriate rules of grammar and use spell-check, creating clear written communication.

Ability to apply basic rules of accounting and manage a data entry and accounting system with accuracy.

Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute with accuracy.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask, prioritize activities, and problem solve is a must.

Ability to respond to the occasional frustrated or angry customer in a calm and professional manner is a necessity. Tact and poise in dealing with the public is required.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be able to to work with minimal supervision and direction, with frequent interruptions.

Owner, Megan Dodd, began working on her storefront here just over a year ago. With much hard work and determination, she flipped this space into an oasis! You wouldn’t believe the transformation from then until now. Hear below how Megan started this journey:

“We started making candles out of our kitchen for ourselves as a solution to create better fragrant candles that were not just powerful in scent but also environmentally friendly. We decided to sell our candle creations and found many people loved our unique, quirky, and highly fragrant candles. We then expanded on to making sugar scrubs as well as other bath and body items. We wanted to add our love of halotherapy to our bath and body and retail line and decided to take the plunge and open a storefront in Meadville, PA. We have a boutique in the front that includes all our bath and body products as well as candles, soaps, books, accessories, clothing, tumblers, and much more. The store is decorated in all beach vibes and embodies a sanctuary of complete relaxation and wellness.

The salt room is the heart of The Salty Spa.

All new customers receive a brief presentation called "Tips and Tricks" prior to painting so they are guaranteed to obtain the most value from their visit. Reservations are never required unless you are interested in scheduling a group/event of 7 or more people. All items are ready for pickup 7 days or less after painting and are food, microwave, dishwasher, oven, animal, and garden safe. Our inventory can be viewed on our website www.thekiltedkiln.com and our party room can seat 26 people comfortably with room for food and presents.
