Warning, long post!!As most of you know, the last year Christie Everhart and I have been so busy with our business Baldwin Henley Home. Because of this, my real estate career sort of got pushed in the corner. I truly had no idea how much our business would take off!
I’m going to be brutally honest, I really didn’t know if I still wanted do real estate. It’s hard and uncomfortable doing something new!! Painting furniture and decorating I can do with my eyes closed. Being creative is what I do best!
Then something unexpected happened. Some of my dearest friends asked me to help them find their dream home on the water. To be honest, I was simply going to refer them to agents that work the lake areas as that was their top choice but inventory is at an all time low. This opened up the idea of looking in the Northern Neck. I thought, “hey I can help them look in those areas”. Well after looking at 11+ houses, we found the one!!🎉
What I’ve learned:
1. Baldwin Henley home is running at a smooth, manageable pace and quite frankly, I still have a lot of free time
2. I had so much fun ( well most of the time) helping my friends reach outside of their box and find an amazing home that I know they are going to make the absolute best memories in!!
3. I want to help more people do the same thing!!
