Memorize these 7 tips and you'll love the way you look!
Many families consider pictures--especially photos from the holiday season--among their most treasured keepsakes. Memorize these 7 tips and you'll love the way you look in photos.

Ever notice that models and celebrities are so seldom photographed straight on? Nearly everyone looks more flattering from an angle, which can help bring out your cheekbones and best facial features. Practice posing in front of a mirror by turning your head slightly to the left and then the right to find your best angle. Once you've got it, work it!
MY FAVORITE BIT! 💕🌷😇

This tip is worth the risk of seeming like your family's resident know-it-all. If your well-meaning mom or aunt pulls out the camera and insists on taking a family portrait while resting on her knees, gently remind her that you will all appear slimmer if she instead takes the photo while standing. Even better: set up a small chair for her and see if she is willing to snap while standing on it!

Good lighting can make or break a photo. While your cousin's house may not be outfitted with a studio's worth of lighting options, doing something as simple as avoiding posing directly beneath a light source--which will enhance dark shadows on your face--can help. LOVE IT! 💕🌷😇

Even if you are so not a makeup person, a little blush on your cheeks, rose-colored lipstick and a touch of pressed powder will do wonders to perk up your complexion and keep shine at bay. Avoid n**e or brown tones as they will just appear flat in photos.
Elongate your neck.

Want to avoid a dreaded double chin? Simply elongate your neck and push your forehead and chin forward slightly as your photo is being taken. You might feel silly, but you will look amazing.
Position your tongue.

Here's a celebrity insider's tip for achieving the most glam and natural smile: position your tongue right behind your teeth so that your grin will look relaxed and as un-Joker-like as possible.
