Great listing photos don't happen by accident. Before the photographer arrives, think about what you want buyers to notice first.

A few ways to make your home photograph beautifully:

• Create visual breathing room by removing excess furniture and décor
• Highlight standout features like fireplaces, views, kitchen islands, or outdoor living spaces
• Make sure bedrooms, offices, bonus rooms, and other spaces clearly show their intended use
• Let in natural light by opening curtains and blinds

🏡 A Look at What’s Next in Real Estate

One of my favorite things about real estate is that there’s always something new to see, learn, and bring back to my clients.

Every year, I make a point to visit the NW Natural Street of Dreams, and this year was no exception. The main event was in Oregon City, with seven beautiful homes at Serres Farms, plus additional homes throughout the area as part of the ON TOUR experience.

I love walking through these homes and seeing what’s changing: the layouts people are drawn to, the finishes and features builders are incorporating, and the little details that can make a home feel truly special.

It’s also a great opportunity to connect with builders and other real estate professionals and hear what they’re seeing in the market.

For me, staying current isn’t just about knowing what’s selling today. It’s about keeping an eye on where home design and buyer preferences are headed next.
