My winter garden is thriving which feels slightly suspicious.
While everyone else is inside under blankets, my cabbage is out there like it pays the mortgage. The broccoli looks unfazed by frost, like, “Oh, is that all you’ve got?” And the Brussels sprouts? They actually seem to prefer the cold. Very dramatic. Very resilient. Very smug.
My garden may not be glamorous, but it is dependable, leafy, and slightly judgmental just the way I like my produce.
