Downsizing has a funny way of sounding like a loss until you start doing the math. Less room for things you forgot you owned. More room in the budget, the schedule, and maybe your actual life. 📦🏡

Bedrooms matter. So does where the backpacks land, how groceries get from the car to the kitchen, whether the dog has a place to be ridiculous, and if your morning commute makes you question all your life choices.

Before you repaint every wall, start with the things buyers can actually see, understand, and mentally price while they’re standing in your foyer. 🎨🏡

Scuffed trim, tired front doors, dark hallways, mismatched touch-ups, and that one room where the color has become a personality trait. Those are the places worth looking at first.

A full repaint can help, but it is not always the first dollar I’d spend. Buyers want to picture their furniture, their routines, and their coffee mug on the counter without also picturing a weekend at the paint store.
