Congratulations are in order for my sellers!

After building this home, then building a whole life in it… imagining what could come next… and then leaving it behind.

This home is on a wonderful street where their kids grew up and made friends over the years, where a whole community of neighbors were looking out for each other, and where friends also felt like families.

Sometimes you’re not just leaving the house and the memories, you’re leaving the whole neighborhood too.

Finding their forever home took some time and they weren’t about to settle. Once they found it, they were ready to move on to their next chapter.

They luckily had the smoothest sale and got more than they could ask for…that’s how you know it was all meant to be! 💛

Yesterday I walked into a room full of some of the biggest names in real estate… completely alone.

No reserved seat.
No one waiting for me.
No guarantee I’d even know a single person there.

And honestly? I was super uncomfortable. 🫣

There were powerhouse agents everywhere and part of me felt out of place in the room. But I reminded myself that growth doesn’t happen when you only do what feels comfortable. So I walked in confidently, introduced myself, asked strangers if I could join their table, sat up front, and absorbed every bit of knowledge I could.

By the end of the event, I was so glad I pushed myself to go. I learned things that will impact my business for years to come. But more importantly, it reminded me of something bigger…

So much in life is waiting on the other side of uncomfortable.

Whether it’s walking into a networking event alone, starting a new career, buying your first home, selling the house you’ve outgrown, making the phone call, asking the question, or taking the leap you keep talking yourself out of… fear has a way of convincing us to stay where it’s safe.

But staying comfortable can also keep you stuck.

Sometimes confidence isn’t something you already have before you do the thing. Sometimes confidence is built because you did it anyway. 💛
