Spring is coming soon! We love to open our windows finally, especially at night! This last weekend the day and night time temperatures varied by 20 degrees or more.
Well several times in the last couple of years we have smelled an unusual level of natural gas. I claimed I didnt smell anything different. Well, I was wrong. I have been told differently by my family. So on Thursday night "we" believed "we" had a gas leak in the house. We called and upon inspection it was determined that we had a gas leak outside, that was leaking inside.
We immeadately ventilated with the assistance of the Medina Fire Department and our gas service, including our heat, hot water and gas top range we're disconnected. Long story short, I am the proud owner of a new 150' gasline installation that restored my service.
I must thank my son Grant for his assistance, "helping out his old man" to complete this project in less than 12 hours. The smallest tool in his tool box is 45 hp. Thank you, Grant.
Question, have you recently taken a cold shower? It is stimulating...I felt like a Viking!!!
