Having two careers really does have its advantages. 😉

I’m fortunate to wear two hats — VP of Business Development for CC&E (Construction Consulting & Estimating) and Residential & Commercial Realtor® with HEQ NEO Real Estate Team — and the more I do both, the more I see just how much they complement each other.

For example, through CC&E, I recently had the opportunity to attend the Cogence Alliance Biennial Town Hall Conference, where I was surrounded by Owners, Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, Consultants, and Contractors.

And yes… I’m going to name-drop. Obviously. 😂

We did it! 🎉

No two real estate transactions are ever the same. Some are smooth sailing and feel like a slam dunk. Others require me to step up, think outside the box, and sometimes even take on tasks that technically “aren’t my job.”

Because when my client has a goal, I keep my eye on the prize and do whatever I can to help them cross the finish line.

Even when my clients are well-informed and prepared, there are often other people involved in a transaction who may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information coming at them. And that’s not necessarily anyone’s fault—not the client’s, and not the other agent’s. Buying or selling a home is a BIG deal, and navigating all the moving parts can be a lot to process.

That’s why clear, consistent communication is one of the things I value most in my business. I make myself available to answer questions, explain what’s happening, solve problems when they arise, and—sometimes most importantly—simply provide reassurance when things feel overwhelming.

At the end of the day, I’m here to advocate for my clients, keep things moving, and do whatever it takes to help get them to the closing table.
