August is here, and it's our favorite time of the summer to get outside! Our facility consists of over 16 miles of comfortable crusher-dust trails that are directly along the East Branch of the Penobscot River.

Trail access is FREE! Our Bike Rentals are obtained by donation at our Visitor Center, seven days a week. All helmets are located in the back gear room of the Visitor Center - please do not forget to sign-in and sign-out of our trail system!

Our Seboeis Riverside Trail is open for the season with our brand new trail map! Seboeis Riverside Trail is a 7.2 mile trail that begins at the Grand Pitch Trailhead just outside of Mount Chase, and ends at the Philpott Bridge Trailhead in Katahdin Woods & Waters.

Located along the way to Philpott Bride is our Snowshoe Lodge Warming Hut which is equipped with a wood burning stove and four cots for overnight use.

It’s been an amazing first week of our Spring Paddling Season! 🛶 Today, Millinocket 7th grade paddled over 3.5 miles on the East Branch of the Penobscot River with our awesome Guide Staff! Pictured here is our famous “floatilla” that is formed when we instruct a “raft up” of all the kayaks. When formed, students hold onto each others boats nice and tight to learn the practice of standing up in your boat.

Thanks for an awesome day Millinocket 7th grade!
