If you scroll back through my feed, you'll find that I went ahead and showed that Zill0w was charging more fees than the standard realtor commission. Then Zill0w was fined. Now, 0pen d00r has been fined for 62 million.

There is nothing, I repeat, nothing better than a smart, sharp, real estate agent. Where they truly shine is when they have to negotiate, and see through all the buyers ***conditions & stipulations*** within the bids on your home. Contracts at face value such as $500,000, but then they put you need to cover all repair fees, could cost you over $30,000 in repairs alone. You need someone that's educated and well versed in reading through this **fine print** to ensure your best interests are protected.

When it comes to these online companies, The low bid, then hidden fees, technology fees, repair fees, go way beyond the realtor's standard commission. It appears the FTC agrees with me. To the tune of 62 million dollars, agrees with me.
