It was a great day on the Space Coast as The Viera Company President Todd Pokrywa joined fellow business and community leaders for Orlando Business Journal’s Doing Business on the Space Coast event at the Hilton Melbourne.

As a panelist, Todd shared his perspective on the opportunities ahead for our region and the role thoughtful, strategic growth can play in shaping the future of the Space Coast.

From aerospace and infrastructure to housing, workforce, business development, and quality of life, there is tremendous momentum across Brevard County and an exciting future ahead.

This morning, the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners recognized A. Duda & Sons, Inc. with a special resolution commemorating our 100th anniversary.

Founded in 1926 by Andrew Duda, a first-generation American with Slovak roots, A. Duda & Sons has grown across five generations while remaining grounded in family, faith, integrity and thoughtful stewardship of the land.

As the parent company of The Viera Company and its Brevard County businesses, the Duda family’s legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of our community. From agriculture and ranching to the development of Viera, A. Duda & Sons has played a lasting role in the growth and character of Central Florida.

We are grateful to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners for honoring this remarkable milestone and recognizing a century of enterprise, innovation and service.
