Iโm not going to lie. The other agent was tough. The house was in amazing shape. However, the house had been sitting on the market for over a month, so we saw an opportunity. We submitted an offer for $710,000 and naturally they countered, closer to asking price. But I knew we could reach a deal that worked for my buyer. We brought up market conditions, the prospective buyer pool, we brought up carrying costs- all valid points that the sellerโs agent had to respond to. We countered the counter, and we all settled on $720,000, and waited for the full inspections to come back. It was the cleanest inspection report I had ever seen. There is always something that pops up during inspection period- but in the case of this house, the only issue was the dishwasher leaked. I am absolutely stoked for my buyers! The hunt for this house was long and arduous, filled with heartbreaks and triumphs. I am so proud to be able to help them move into a home that they can be proud of, where they can make memories and where they can raise their son!
