Ironically, I was thinking about our coaching session today and one of my clients shared a memory from last year. Soooo…apparently today is my 2nd-year anniversary of being a Dual Career Productivity Coach. It is only fitting because on today the coaching clients from both coaching groups went on a field trip to a new home construction site. I have talked to at least 3 of my coaching clients since then and as my mind settled for the evening, I thought about how that group of agents metaphorically represented that new construction home site. Some are at the foundation stage, some at framing, some almost finished, and some are move-in ready. Builders don’t start with quartz countertops and beautiful hardwood flooring and shiny backsplashes. They start with foundations, blueprints, and direction. And that’s what coaching is for. Sometimes you don’t need another strategy. You need language for what you’re building. You need confirmation. You need someone to say, “I see you. Keep going. You’re closer than you think.” Don’t compare your wooden frame to somebody else’s finished house. Finished homes once looked messy too. Today was about getting clarity so that you can be clear in the moment. If your real estate business were a new construction site today…what stage would you be in…foundation, framing, almost finished, or move-in ready? And what clarity do you need next?
