Yesterday was absolutely amazing! Love, empowerment, and confidence filled the room! The Metamorphosis Project partnered with Sparkles and Confetti, Partners in Unity, The Healing Thread, Community Alliance Group, Prophet Promise, Victoria Liz, Blueprint College and Career Prep, The Sterling Institute, Beauty Contour, A-1 Electrical Contractors Inc., T**z Me Unlimited Inc., Daughters of Al’ Usura Court No. 251, and Trezevant High School( Eric Brent, Torisha Williams, Faith Hayes, and Travis Wade)

The students and parents were awesome and the experience was phenomenal! The young ladies said YES TO THE DRESS and we wish them well! I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who donated their dresses, shoes, time, and money to support our event. Lastly thanks to my awesome Board members Dedriene Rogers, Myra Stuckey, Chavon Vanhooks, Atara Dorsey, Marlena Shorter, and Sharron Millbrook

Canvas for a Cause was truly exceptional! It was fantastic to have my colleagues there to support me. Thanks to the generosity of donors, attendees, and ticket buyers for the Metamorphosis Project, we were able to raise money for the upcoming prom dress giveaway at Trezevant High School on April 11, 2026.

We are hosting a prom dress giveaway April 11th for young women at Trezevant High. If you have a gently used prom or formal dress consider donating it.

Today has been an awesome day! Special thanks to Patara West for nominating The Metamorphosis Project for the Sprout's Healthy Communities Foundation grant. We will begin the Wings and Roots Community Garden at Memphis Merit Academy! Thanks so much for believing in us!!!!

Today was busy but fulfilling!!! The Metamorphosis Project partnered with Memphis Merit Academy to do a community outreach. We provided diapers, pullups, clothes, soap, socks,and other toiletries.
