Do not move in to a revid property, ever, live in a box under a bridge, it's better accommodations, and the people driving by throwing things out of their car windows, care more about you than revid does.
I moved in to a house that a revid representative called cleanish...that meant black carpets, with an inch of leaves on the floor. The refrigerator had no working shelves, and the kitchen as well as the wash room floor had holes in them. The kitchen door was rotted out, light shown through it, and someone had kicked the door in cracking the door frame. This was their idea of move in ready.
I took the place because it was close to my work, and I could get home and check on my dog at lunch. I put new floors in the bathrooms, bought a steam cleaner, bought towel racks, shower rods, and toilet paper holders, because they didn't come with the house. I paid 700.00 a month for the dump, OBTW...
My air conditioner went out 3 times, the last time I paid to have it fixed because I was on a waiting list for a week before they could fix it in July! Revid paid 65.00 of the bill, because they didn't have enough people to fix all of the air conditioners that were out in Memphis, (their words, not mine) then they turned around and slapped me with a 55.00 late fee on my rent, because I refused to pay until the air conditioner was working. I had rats in my roof, their solution...they boarded the roof up and let them die in there, causing a wonderful aroma for a week.
The gas was not turned on in time for fall because there were holes in the duct work, that the city found, when expecting my house. The city employee told me I was lucky, I could have died from gas leak.
So I moved out...paid for the entire month, moved out of the house 2 weeks early, now I am being sued for rekeying the house, and cleaning and stretching of the carpet...
They kept my 400.00 security deposit, and now suing me for more...
Run don't walk from revid! They don't care about the people who rent from them, and they are looking for your money to help them turn all of memphis into slums!
Oh yeah, then there was the time when my bedroom got flooded, I came home to 2 inches of water in the carpet,
They sent someone out 2days later with a shop vac, no attachments, just the torn up hose, he sucked up the water he could, then he left a shop fan, to "help, air dry it"
The house smelled of mold, second time the pipes had burst in this house, once with previous renters. The fan was left at my house for 3 weeks.
Should have charged them a storage fee like they wanted from me for the busted fridge!
Sure, go ahead, disregard this message, move in with rivid....I'll be reading your message soon!
