ARKANSAS REALTORS ASSOCIATION
102nd Annual Convention

Some members of the Mena Area Board of REALTORS recently attended the Arkansas REALTORS Association’s 102nd Annual Convention.

We were especially proud to see the Mena Area Board of REALTORS recognized for our fundraising efforts for Special Olympics Arkansas. Our board received awards for both raising the most funds among small boards and for having the highest amount raised per member. A huge thank you to our community for supporting us along the way. We truly couldn’t have accomplished this without the generosity and support of the people in our community!

Each local board also had the opportunity to recognize their REALTOR® of the Year at the statewide ceremony. Representing the Mena Area Board of REALTORS was our own REALTOR® of the Year, Nancy Wright.

It was a great convention filled with opportunities to learn, connect with other REALTORS® from across the state, and bring new ideas back home. We learned a lot and are already looking forward to next year’s convention!

On Tuesday August 11th we held our General Meeting of the month at Papas Mexican Cafe. Alyssa Green with The Call in Polk County was our guest speaker. She brought up how they were doing on supplies. She mentioned that they are in dire need of volunteers, so if anyone sees this and is interested please reach out! Nancy Wright was announced as our 2026 Realtor of the Year! Chandra Brown was also announced as the winner of the realtor convention ticket! Thank you to everyone who came and for giving us your time, Alyssa!

Today we helped volunteer in handing out food for the Lunches of Love hosted by First Presbyterian Church. Thank you to everyone who was able to volunteer! It was an amazing experience and we look forward to the next time!

This week the REALTORs of Mena Area Board of Realtors had their monthly meeting at La Villa! The guest speakers were from the Area 14 Special Olympics. Athlete Willam and Coach Wende came to speak on the program and the wonderful benefits it has for our local Area 14 athletes and statewide athletes. They also spoke on the recent summer games that were held in Searcy Arkansas at Harding University.

This last Tuesday, the realtors had their monthly meeting at China Restaurant in Mena!
