This week the REALTORs of Mena Area Board of Realtors had their monthly meeting at La Villa! The guest speakers were from the Area 14 Special Olympics. Athlete Willam and Coach Wende came to speak on the program and the wonderful benefits it has for our local Area 14 athletes and statewide athletes. They also spoke on the recent summer games that were held in Searcy Arkansas at Harding University.

Today was the general meeting for the Mena Area Board of Realtors!
We had Meagan Davis with Maddox and Davis Law Firm came to answer questions about trusts, deeds, and property lines.
She also presented information on the activities at the Mena Art Gallery! They have some fantastic classes, so check them out! 🎨
Lastly, the board presented Quincy, owner of Mena Title Company, with a memorial picture of her late husband, Jeremy.

The Mena Area Board of Realtors was proud to host a Special Olympics Auction Fundraiser, bringing our community together for an evening filled with generosity, inspiration, and fun.

We were especially honored to hear from several Special Olympics athletes who shared heartfelt stories about the activities they love most. Their passion and joy were a powerful reminder of what these programs mean on a personal level.

A highlight of the evening was the auction of a Parrot Island Waterpark season pass in Fort Smith. In a wonderful moment of kindness, the winning bidder chose to gift the pass to one of the athletes who then earned it with a victory in a rock paper scissors contest! Congratulations to Cindy Mantooth for winning the auction, and to Jacob Turner for coming out on top in the contest.

We also had the privilege of hearing from Camie Powell, Director of Marketing and Partnerships for Special Olympics Arkansas. She spoke about the incredible impact the organization has on athletes across the state and emphasized how vital community support and fundraising efforts are to making these opportunities possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this meaningful event. Together, we are helping create opportunities, build confidence, and make a lasting difference in the lives of these amazing athletes.

The Special Olympics Auction is tomorrow at 6! We hope to see all of you there!

We also have a Wi******er .22 and a Stoeger 9mm included. In addition, there’s a “Taste of Polk County” gift basket featuring multiple gift certificates to restaurants throughout Polk County. We’re also expecting several more great items to be delivered soon.
