What is the Leadership Institute?

While many organizations have Leadership Institutes and Academies, the Women’s Council’s 85+year track record and proven system in creating leaders is considered the pinnacle in the industry. The Leadership Institute develops leaders who have demonstrated leadership potential through their local network, with the goal of creating a network of industry experts across the country who are actively involved in improving our Council. The education pillars behind this training program are Team Building, Presentation Skills, Conflict Resolution, Storytelling, Strategic Thinking, and Empowering Others.

A special congratulations goes to Miesha L. Stanley, Mercer County Network President! Miesha was selected to attend the 2025 Leadership Institute and we wish her well. She is an outstanding leader and will make us proud on the National level of the Women's Council of REALTORS.

It is time to select the 2025 State Women's Council of REALTORS New Jersey leadership team!

Our election will be held September 25, 2024 at 9:00am via Zoom. All members of the local networks are expected to attend.

2025 President- Lynne Mortimer (ascends automatically)
2025 President-Elect- Marrie Rose Garbacz (appointed by the incoming 2025 President)
2025 State Liaison- Allegra House (Appointed by the incoming 2025 President)

Let us all thank Jane Burrows, Kathy Morin and the entire nominating committee for sorting through the applications to find the most qualified candidates for the positions.

Our nominating committee has brought forth the following nominees to fill the positions for the remaining open leadership positions for 2025.
