Mackenzie Rain has lived with her family on the Mendocino Coast for over a decade. As a mother of two school-age children, a bodyworker, and a dancer with Mendocino Dance Project, she is deeply connected and established in the local community. In 2012 she and her husband purchased an acre of land in the coastal zone and proceeded through the challenging permitting process to build a

family home. Through navigating the Coastal Commission and building a residence from bare land, she learned first-hand the important elements of homes and properties in this unique area. Friday night I was honored by our local realtor’s association with the Distinguished Service Award, given to a realtor who shows “a true sense of professionalism and ethical behavior.”

I feel appreciated and full of gratitude 🤍💙

I’m usually all wrapped up in the day to day challenges, but when I step back and look at my career I do feel proud. It’s nice to be recognized in this way.

Some escrows are short and sweet, others…are not.

These first time home buyers deserve an award for getting through and making it to the finish line, because this was a tough one!

I am proud of them for sticking with it when times got rough and I am so very excited for them. The property is a secret gem at the very end of a road with over 8 acres of beautiful meadows, redwoods, creek and forests. The home is a bit dated, but it’s sturdy and big enough for their needs and can be remodeled at some point.

Not every transaction is smooth sailing, but this one was.

My clients worked their tails off for many months to get the home in shipshape condition to sell. Then they found me by happenstance and handed the reins over to me to sell it.

Ready for some spooky fun? Check out what’s happening on the Mendocino Coast.

I went the magic market last year and it was a blast! The streets were closed off to cars and filled with dressed up people having a good time. I highly recommend it.

I am always at the Circus Mecca show too. If you see Bo-Peep with a very tall sheep, it’s probably me and my hubby🤣

A day in the life of a Realtor on the Mendocino Coast ☀️🌊🏡

Today was all about the soon-to-be for sale.

I checked in on some work at an upcoming listing, helped a colleague with a price opinion, and toured a potential listing.

I even stopped at Blues Beach to eat my picnic lunch(planning ahead😁).

The views along the way were fantastic! No complaints over here.
