In my last post about a Walmart a lot of you asked if the Costco was also coming to Menifee and….a proposed Costco is currently in the review process and could become a huge addition to the city if approved.👏🏼🛒

If approved, this project is expected to bring:
✨ More shopping & dining options
✨ Hundreds of local jobs
✨ Added convenience for residents
✨ Potential growth for surrounding businesses
✨ Increased demand for nearby real estate
✨ A new gas station & bulk shopping access closer to home

With Menifee continuing to grow rapidly, projects like this are one of the many reasons buyers are keeping an eye on the area 👀

Is a Walmart approved in Menifee???

While researching the City of Menifee development records, I found an approved Walmart-centered commercial project that is STILL listed as an active entitled development project by the city.

The proposed development includes:
🛒 A massive major retail building believed to be a future Walmart Supercenter
⛽ Gas station & convenience store
🍔 Multiple quick-service restaurants
🍽 Sit-down restaurant
🛍 Additional retail shops
🚗 Auto service & repair center

The project spans over 30 acres and has reportedly been in the city pipeline since 2009 but with Menifee’s rapid growth happening NOW, this is definitely a development worth watching closely.

Important: this does NOT mean construction starts tomorrow… but it DOES mean the project already received planning approval from the city and remains on current development records.

If this moves forward, it could bring major retail growth, more dining options, new jobs, and even more expansion to the Scott Road/I-215 corridor.

Menifee is growing FAST… and this could be one of the city’s biggest future commercial developments 👀
