Now, I do not know if Alexander really said that, but it is a lesson in lion leadership.
The more contemporaneous quote, “Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way” was attributed to Thomas Paine, although Lee Iacocca, and George S. Patton have also taken credit for the quote.
Most true lion leaders are either hated or loved because they change things, and most governments, organizations and people feel more secure living in the status quo. I know I do.
Change represents risk and danger. Assuming risk and danger is not ingrained in human nature, nor is it in the animal kingdom. We tend to avoid changing often by ridiculing it because change represents danger and risk. But change is necessary for humankind to advance. We need lion leaders as a catalyst for that change.
Love them or hate them we need lion leaders for us to change, to survive and grow.
Just my thought, just my opinion and this is not an endorsement for any person or political party.
