It’s a little extra special Friday for me because today Lisa and I are celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary.

Under contract is exciting, but there’s still plenty of work to do before closing.

Today I’m meeting a contractor at a property one of my buyers just went under contract on so we can get a quote for some work and have the information needed to make good decisions moving forward.

That’s part of representing a buyer. It’s not just finding the house and writing the offer. It’s helping navigate everything that comes next.

This morning I’m working through negotiations on an offer I wrote yesterday for one of my buyers. Writing the offer is just the beginning. Understanding the market, communicating with the other side and negotiating terms that protect your client can make all the difference.
