After outgrowing their Chesterland space, chefs and newlyweds Hedy and Talia Trovato are opening Coppia's new location today on 1731 Lost Nation Road in Willoughby.

The restaurant features a “modern-organic design" with seating options that include a bar, dining room, patio and chef’s table, where eight diners will enjoy an exclusive seasonally-driven multi-course tasting menu and wine pairing.

"From the very beginning we imagined a fine dining experience where the food, service and atmosphere were completely harmonious," says Hedy. "During our time in Chesterland, we did start to noticeably outgrow our kitchen and dining room space. So we wanted to design an area that could allow our concept to keep growing and moving forward."

Without any advance warning, Bar Louie has abruptly closed its Legacy Village location in Lyndhurst, which opened nearly 20 years ago, and its Crocker Park spot, which opened in 2012. Visitors -- and presumably staffers -- who attempted to enter the restaurant last weekend were greeted by the following sign:

"We regret to inform you this location is permanently closed. Thank you for the many memories!"

The Texas-based chain, which had restaurants in 19 states, also abruptly shuttered stores in greater Detroit, Illinois and New Jersey last week.
