Some closings are about houses.
Others are about healing.
This one was about so much more.
When I first met this family, they were walking through a season that felt incredibly heavy. The previous year and a half had brought challenges, uncertainty, heartbreak, and more than their fair share of obstacles. There were moments when the future felt unclear and finding the right home seemed far away.
But they never stopped believing that better days were ahead.
A few months ago, we started the search again.
Then one day, they walked into a house that felt different.
Not because it was the biggest.
Not because it was the newest.
Not because it checked every box on a list.
It felt like peace.
They visited it multiple times, and each time that feeling remained. There was a sense of clarity that this wasn’t just another house—it was the place where their next chapter would begin.
Yesterday, they received the keys.
Not just to a home, but to a fresh start.
A place where their children can run through the yard, where family traditions will be created, where birthdays will be celebrated, where laughter will echo through the halls, and where memories will be made for years to come.
