We wanted to share the cause of today's power outage that affected our community.

According to CHP Merced, the outage was the result of a serious traffic collision involving a vehicle and a power pole. Our thoughts are with everyone involved in the accident, and we are grateful to the first responders and utility crews who worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

📍 July 2 | Mercado Night Market – Downtown Merced
Join the 6th Annual Veterans, Military Personnel, and First Responders Appreciation Night from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Bob Hart Square and Canal Street. Enjoy live music, delicious food, local vendors, and a festive evening in downtown Merced.

📍 July 3 | Merced Marching 100 Firework Show
Head to the Merced High School District parking lot at 3105 G Street for an evening featuring live music, a classic car show beginning at 6:00 PM, and a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

📍 July 3 | Diamonds in the Sky Spectacular at Merced Speedway
Enjoy an exciting night of racing followed by a fireworks show! Grandstands open at 5:00 PM, racing begins at 7:00 PM, and the fireworks start after the main events.

📍 July 4 | Atwater Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate at Ralston Park with a full day of family fun! Activities include the Run for Independence (7:30 AM), parade at 9:00 AM, food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
