Shore season is here and if you know me you know I am obsessed with it.

But every summer I watch people spend $45,000 on a rental and hand the keys back after a few weeks.

What if those keys were yours to keep?

A shore home is more within reach than most people think. And here is the part nobody talks about: you can rent your place out for a few weeks and use that income to finance your dream for the other 11 months.

Fall weekends. Spring long weekends. No crowds. No checkout time. Just yours.

If you are renting at the shore this summer we need to have a real conversation.

Just call me. 🌊

Three homes. Two adjacent towns. All over 100 years old. And all available right now in South Jersey. 🎀

This is what historic character paired with thoughtful modern updates actually looks like - and what it costs might surprise you.

We are talking original hardwood floors, front porches made for slow mornings, gorgeous outdoor spaces, and off street parking. Walkable to downtown shopping, dining, a farm market, and community events. Steps to parks and walking trails. And a commute to the city that actually makes sense.

These are not flipped houses. These are homes that have been loved, updated with care, and maintained by people who understood what they had. The history is intact. The character is real. And the modern comforts are all there.

Merchantville and Pennsauken sit right on the edge of Philadelphia’s suburbs, close enough that the city is minutes away, tucked away enough that you actually come home and exhale.

This is what affordable, convenient, and beautifully preserved South Jersey living looks like right now.

Sold and settled at 7320 Maple Ave, Unit 235 in Pennsauken. 🎀

This one made my heart happy. My buyers have been longtime Pennsauken residents and when it was time to downsize, they did not have to go far. We found the perfect fit right in their own town3 a gorgeous 2 bedroom condo in Maple Commons, a lovely 55+ community. Open living space, a modern kitchen, move-in ready, and a balcony that is the perfect spot to sip morning coffee and take it all in.

There is something really sweet about that. A new chapter that does not mean leaving everything you love behind. Just a simpler, beautiful version of it.

So happy for these two!!! Wishing them so much joy in their new home. đź©·

If you or someone you love is thinking about making a move like this, reach out. I love helping people find the right next chapter.

9 West Cedar Ave has a story. And it is one of the best ones in Merchantville. 🎀

This building was built in 1863. Merchantville was not even an incorporated borough yet - that would not happen until 1874. From the very beginning, 9 West Cedar Ave was already here.

In the early 1890s a group of women in this community came together to form the Merchantville Woman’s Club. They started the Half Hour Reading Club: a small circle of women sitting together with books, which eventually grew into the Merchantville Public Library. They founded the Visiting Nurse Association. They organized the first ever home tour in Merchantville’s history. And around 1942 they acquired 9 West Cedar Ave as their clubhouse, a gathering place where meetings, workshops, luncheons, and community events filled that grand open floor plan for decades.

The first floor belonged to the club. The second and third floors were a sprawling private apartment rented to a tenant. In the mid 1980s that tenant purchased the building and began one of the most thoughtful conversions you will ever see. A freestanding grand staircase was added to the center of what was once one uninterrupted room, creating a natural and flowing division between the living and dining rooms, not quite separate, but beautifully defined. The club entertained here for decades. And the layout is even better for it today. A kitchen addition with a skylight was added to the first floor. The ceiling above the second floor living room was removed, creating a soaring 27 foot primary bedroom. Brass chandeliers from a former Pennsylvania ballroom were added, perfectly in keeping with the character of the space.

Each owner since has added their own enhancements while honoring the history and preserving the character of this one of a kind home.

Message me for a private showing.

Some homes are a lesson in architectural and design history. 6537 Rogers Ave in the Collins Tract neighborhood of Pennsauken is one of them. 🎀

The American Foursquare was one of the most popular home styles of the early 1900s. Symmetrical, solid, and built to last. Recognizable by its square shape, low pitched roof, full width front porch, and those beautiful rusticated block columns. But what made so many Foursquares truly special was what happened on the inside.

The American Foursquare provided the perfect structural foundation for the cozy, naturalistic ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement. And when the two came together, something remarkable happened. Gone were the ornate, mass-produced details of Victorian architecture. In their place: structural simplicity and artisanal craftsmanship. Every detail made by hand, with purpose, and built to last.

Inside this home you see exactly that. Original dark wood columns and trim, hand forged iron hardware on the original front door, craftsman wall sconces flanking the fireplace, ornate cast iron radiators, and leaded glass diamond pane windows in the dining room.

And as an added bonus: this home has been thoughtfully updated with modern amenities. A mini split system on the first floor and central air on the second, a beautifully updated kitchen with a gorgeous center island, and a solar system with a low monthly payment. All the character of a 100 year old home with the comfort of today!

Once you see it in person you will understand why this home is so special.

6537 Rogers Ave, Pennsauken NJ.
$420,000.

It is going to be a great weekend. Fabulous weather, market kickoff, listing debuts and open houses : what more could you ask for?!

Friday night the Merchantville Market Off-Centre kicks off its season at 5pm and we are right there with it.
9 W Cedar Ave opens its doors for the very first time and 14 Lexington Ave is back open : both walkable from the market. Make a night of it.

Saturday we keep the energy going. Cedar Ave is open again and 6537 Rogers Ave in Pennsauken makes its debut.

Sunday we close out the weekend with three: Lexington Ave, Rogers Ave, and 1906 49th St in Pennsauken, a rental that will not be available long.

Some of my ROCO ladies are hosting alongside me all weekend. Pre-register through the link in my bio and save time at the door.

9 West Cedar Ave, Merchantville. 🎀

Showings kick off at the Open House this Friday from 5 to 7pm and Saturday from 11am to 1pm.

And if you are already heading to Merchantville Friday night for the first First Market off Centre of the season - we are literally steps away. Come for the farm market. Stay for this.

This home has a story that I love to tell. It was once the Merchantville Women’s Clubhouse. And when it was converted into a single family home, nothing ordinary happened. What you get is a one of a kind space that is unlike anything else on the market in this town.

A freestanding grand staircase separating the living and dining rooms. An original marble fireplace converted to gas. Chandeliers from a historic Pennsylvania ballroom. A kitchen so big it has its own coffee bar, a seating area, and a brand new skylight over it all. A bathroom that still has the original stalls alongside a charming freestanding tub in a custom tiled alcove. A main bedroom with soaring 27 foot ceilings. A rooftop deck. A first floor deck. A newly fenced oversized yard. An EV charging station in the driveway.

This is not a house. This is an experience.

$565,000. Come see it this weekend.
