Well, we took a month hiatus from social media to get through Covid (x6!), enjoy a much needed vacation to the Oregon Coast, and to focus on our kids and each other, but we are back! We are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things; helping clients meet their real estate dreams and, in turn, helping families to fund the adoption of children with Down Syndrome. Happy World Down Syndrome Day!

Today, 3/21, is a day celebrating all of those with Down Syndrome! 3/21 is significant because it is having a third copy of the 21st chromosome that results in having Down Syndrome.

This day is celebrated with the same joy as Christmas in our home. We have two sons rocking the extra chromosome and they have changed and rocked our life in every way! They have given us our purpose, our dreams, and our view on life. So today (and everyday), lead with love, embrace joy, and be a friend to all!

Our is the most important part of our business after helping our clients through a successful transaction. With the extremely competitive real estate market right now, there are several key factors in choosing a Realtor to work with. Secondly, after that successful transaction, we take 50% our earnings and donate them into our nonprofit, .arrow.outreach. Our nonprofit then takes 100% of this money and gives it as grants to families adopting children with Down Syndrome from all around the world! Having adopted a kiddo with Down Syndrome from Ukraine in 2019, and having been the desperate recipients of similar grants; it is our greatest honor to be able to help our clients and give back simultaneously.

For this week’s , meet our oldest, Carter! C is the biggest hearted, silly and imaginative, best big brother we could have ever imagined being blessed with. His giving heart is unmatched, and he is constantly asking us, “can I have $20?”, quickly followed with, “so I can give it to a homeless person who doesn’t have anything”. While he’s the kindest boy ever, he’s also a little boss! At school they can sell things on Fridays for Monopoly money. He decided he would sell custom painted rocks, and quickly started dictating to us parents what we needed to paint for the week. He has increased his prices 300% over the last 3 weeks, and when we tried to get him to come paint initially, he quickly pointed out that “that’s not my role. You guys paint, I sell”. đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

Clean, organized, finished projects; can they envision their lives in your current space? This simple mindset and preparation could be what makes the difference in buyers offering asking price (when they NEED a home, but see the work needed) vs. offering 10+% over asking price (when they absolutely love it and NEED to have YOUR home).

Starting our business, we knew we didn’t just want to be another local real estate business in your eyes. We would be honored in helping you with some of the biggest decisions you will make for you and your family, and as such, we want to invite you to be a part of our family as well! For this week’s , meet our youngest, Oakley! Our daughter is the perfect combination of fun and fierce, and will no doubt be the CEO someday! She bosses her three older brothers (and us) around daily, but does it with the sweetest demeanor.

Oakley’s favorite parts of our home are the master bath tub, hunting for rocks in the backyard, and her pet lizards in the toy room! What are your “must haves” for your children when looking at moving or improving homes?
