Cindy Maier has weathered the ups and downs of real estate since she began her career as a Realtor® in 1998. She was previously the managing partner for the Cindy Maier Home Team and is skilled in short sales and foreclosures, new construction, relocation, and high-end resale. She says her career in real estate sales fits her perfectly because she, “...enjoys working with people. Putting the right
buyers with the right sellers just makes me happy!” Constant communication with her clients is Cindy’s number one goal. She knows how to get her clients exactly what they need and how to communicate it in an effective and efficient way. Her background in respiratory therapy taught her how to be empathetic towards others, how to work with people from all walks of life, and how to ensure client’s needs come first. Listening to others and truly understanding what they are trying to convey is an important part of the real estate process, and this skill helps Cindy negotiate on her client’s behalf. Education in the real estate industry is important to Cindy, and she’s earned her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification) and her CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation. These designations not only set her apart from other agents, they help her ascertain how to best help her clients in any circumstance that they may be faced with during a real estate transaction. Cindy knows sometimes everything can go smoothly and sometimes it’s critical for an experienced agent to use their skill set to fix problems that may arise. Cindy has lived in the Treasure Valley all of her life and says her favorite thing about her community is, “the small town comfort and charm with the big city conveniences.” She’s involved in St. Lukes Cares, YMCA Live Strong, the Cancer Society, and a past member of the Junior League of Boise. Her community has recognized her work ethic and her community service, as she was on the Agent Leadership Council, awarded the Circle of Excellence in 2004-2012 and 2016, 2018 and was on the Idaho Association of Realtors Honor Society. When she’s not selling real estate, Cindy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, biking, and water sports.
