That "new house smell" sells you fast.

It doesn't tell you what you can still ask for.

The builder's rep is good at their job. That's the point. They work for the builder, not you.

Get your own person in the room before you walk into that sales office.

The shirt says California. This wine says otherwise.

Rusty’s Rosé, from Famici Wine Company, right here in the Snake River Valley. Named after the family dog, not some bougie vineyard in Tuscany.

Tempranillo and Sangiovese, made for exactly this kind of afternoon.

Come for Idaho. Not for some cheaper version of somewhere else.

Jazz piano. Crisp white tablecloths. Prime steaks. Creamed spinach that deserves its own holiday.

I brought an Idaho Primitivo from the Snake River Valley.

Idaho wine still barely appears on Boise wine lists. With serious vineyards less than an hour away producing wines for almost any menu, that’s ridiculous.

Borderline criminal, actually.

You bring the wine. Chandler’s will handle the rest.
