SIX REASONS why owning your home is better than renting. What is holding you back? My last client waited and waited (approx 2 yrs) and finally bought a home last month. When he originally started on the road to home ownership a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in Canyon County was $405,000 THEN....Now it is $470,000. The cost of the wait in payment was $432/month. (would make a new car payment) I know you are saying rates were lower. I calculated the difference in Sales price with the same rate to compare apples to apples. The cost of waiting is high. Values in our homes will continue to go up AND the cost of waiting will be painful...
The first step is to talk with a lender see what your options are. I know several experienced lenders; remember I was a lender for 29 yrs before being an agent. I can refer one! There are so many programs to help with rates, Mortgage Insurance, down payment, closing costs, etc. to help you get into a home. then I can help you find your HOME!
