Beginning a New Chapter at Boise Regional REALTORS®

Today, I have the privilege of beginning my journey as Chief Executive Officer of Boise Regional REALTORS®. I am incredibly grateful to the Board of Directors for the confidence they have placed in me, and I am excited to join an organization with such a strong reputation for serving REALTORS® and advocating for homeownership throughout the Treasure Valley.

Over the past several weeks, I've had the opportunity to meet many of our volunteer leaders, staff, and members. Those conversations have only reinforced what drew me to Boise Regional REALTORS® in the first place; a culture built on professionalism, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to serving both members and the communities that we call home.

As I step into this role, I don't arrive with all the answers. My first responsibility is to learn. I want to understand what makes this association successful, where our members see opportunities for growth, and how we can continue delivering meaningful value in an industry that is changing every day.

Real estate is evolving rapidly. Technology is transforming how business is conducted. Consumers expect more than ever before. Housing affordability remains a significant challenge, and legislative and regulatory decisions continue to shape the environment in which REALTORS® operate. Through all of that change, one thing remains constant: the importance of a strong local REALTOR® association that equips its members to succeed while advocating for the value of private property rights, homeownership and the real estate profession.

Boise Regional REALTORS® has an important role to play, not only as a provider of education, professional development, and business resources, but also as a trusted voice or an advocate for REALTORS®, homeowners, and our communities. I believe our greatest opportunities come when we work together, share ideas openly, and remain focused on serving our members with excellence.

One of my priorities over the coming months will be spending time with as many members as possible. I look forward to visiting brokerages, attending committee meetings, participating in association events, and hearing directly from you. I want to understand your experiences, your challenges, and your vision for the future of Boise Regional REALTORS®. Listening will always be the starting point for good leadership.

I also believe that successful organizations are built on strong partnerships. Our volunteer leaders, staff, brokers, affiliates, community partners, and members each bring valuable perspectives. My commitment is to foster an environment where those perspectives are welcomed, where communication is open, and where we work together toward common goals.

The future of our profession presents both challenges and opportunities, and I am optimistic about what lies ahead. Boise Regional REALTORS® is well positioned to continue leading, innovating, and supporting REALTORS® as they help people achieve the dream of homeownership throughout our region.

Thank you for the warm welcome you have already extended to my wife and I. It is an honor to serve as your CEO, and I look forward to building relationships, earning your trust, and working alongside you in the years ahead.
