25 years ago, Boise voters chose to protect what makes this place special.
In May 2001, 59% approved the city's first Foothills Levy — kicking off a conservation effort that has since protected over 12,500 acres of open space above the Treasure Valley. The trails, the ridgelines, the wide-open sagebrush views — all of it exists because the community chose to invest in it.
