As a REALTOR® it is important for me to show up and learn about the proposed changes the County / City / State are deciding on and how it impacts the residents, buyers and sellers. As a resident, you have a voice.

📢🗓️ REMINDER - Public Hearing on Proposed Changes to Land Division Ordinance 📢🗓️

The Canyon County Development Services Department (DSD) is proposing updates to several parts of the Land Division Ordinance, aka the County’s way to administratively divide property in Canyon County’s agricultural zones. 🏛️🔨👥

Note that the number of allowable administrative land divisions will NOT change. The DSD is only proposing to remove the non-viable section of code.

Some of these proposed changes include clearer definitions for “lot,” “parcel,” and “original parcel,” as well updated definitions for “buildable,” “legal access,” “agricultural-only parcel,” and “historic lot,” plus much more.

These proposed changes come after public surveys and an open house in Spring and Summer of 2025, wherein the County gathered public input regarding the administrative land division process.

Our hope is that these proposed code updates improve clarity and protect agricultural land, as well as make the code clearer, easier to understand, and more consistent with current practices.

Have questions or want to testify at the meeting? We’d love to hear from you!

Submit your questions or written testimony to [email protected] before the deadline of August 10th.

Or attend the Public Hearing at the Canyon County Administration Building on August 20th @ 6:30 PM. - 111 N 11th Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605

Save the Date! August 29-30

Prayers for the family of these brave souls.

Prayers for the family of these brave souls.

In the wake of the attack in Jordan, we honor the brave American service members who were killed, injured, or remain missing. May we never take for granted the sacrifices made by the men and women who serve our nation. The loss of American lives adds weight to the already-heavy burden our military families are feeling as the conflict in the Middle East continues. Operation Homefront remains committed to standing beside them while we honor their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation.

In light of the recent emergencies on the Boise Greenbelt, we wanted to share these safety tips recently posted by our partners at the Boise Police Department.
Emergencies can happen anywhere, and we want to help our community stay safe on our paths and greenbelts.

Wisdom shared from Boise PD:
✅ It is recommended to take routes with good lighting and visibility and avoid isolated areas.
✅ Stay alert and aware. Avoid wearing headphones or using anything that limits your ability to observe your surroundings.
✅ When possible, travel with another person or a group of people.
✅ Know your route and have an alternative plan.
✅ Carry your cell phone and make sure it’s charged.
✅ Tell someone where you are going and when you will return. If you have a trusted friend or family member, share your location with them.
✅ If you see something concerning or suspicious, report it to police.
✅ If you see something dangerous or witness a crime in progress, get to a safe location and call 911 immediately.

We’re here if you need us, Nampa.
Dispatch non-emergency: 208-465-2257 option 1
And of course, in an emergency, call 911!
