If you live here, none of this surprises you. If you don’t, buckle up.
-Construction that shows up out of nowhere and blocks the main road for six months
-Wasps the size of your thumb setting up shop in your eaves and refusing to leave, good luck with that
-The never ending inversion layer every January that traps the whole valley in gray for weeks
-Mowing your lawn on Monday and shoveling snow off it by Friday, welcome to April
-Tableside guac at Barbacoa (so good it should honestly be illegal)
-Smoke season this past month in August that kept everyone inside
-Being told a 30 min drive is far when your new here....and then you start to think it too
-Keeping lotion in every purse, car, and drawer just to survive the high desert dry
-Not trusting a single weather app
