They are in dire straits and need help in form of donations, funds, volunteers etc. If you can help out, please consider this organization. You can also go to their store and buy some of the items in retail, which helps fund their mission as well.

🌟 Urgent Appeal for Support 🌟

We are struggling tremendously right now, and I need to be honest with you all: if we don’t find a way to continue to raise enough funds monthly, and gather additional donors, volunteers, and supporters, we may face heartbreaking decisions. I sound like a broken record and haven't asked for much since December, I hate knowing so many are struggling. FCN is really a small business and so many businesses are having to close their doors or are struggling to make it week to week. We have all the cats that count on us, and the community so it’s crucial that we keep our doors open for them.

As of today, we have less than $3500 in our checking account, it might seem like a lot but at this point, we are barely going to make payroll for our small, dedicated staff of 5, and we have urgent bills like NIPSCO and federal taxes & April rent looming over us.

So here is where the good news: the silver lining of the day I guess. We were presented the opportunity to receive a $2500 donation match! The donation will be given to us IF we can raise $2,500 within the next 24 hours. With that matching donation IF we can do it in 24 hrs or less we will receive a $500 bonus making the total raised $5,500! This matching opportunity starts tonight at 7PM.

You can support us by donating monetarily, which directly helps us keep our doors open. Additionally, shopping at our gift shop—either online or in person—makes a significant difference. What many don't know is the gift shop is our main funding, everything in the shop comes back to the cats, we don't have a middleman to pay. So every purr-chase and donation helps us continue our vital work in the community and support the cats who rely on us.

We want to keep our building so we can continue to do more for the community. Our mission has the potential to help countless cats and people, but I can’t carry this burden alone. My health has been suffering, and my anxiety is at an all-time high. We need your help more than ever, there are only (5) of us running the entire show, slide a handful of some awesome volunteers into the mix and you have FCN.

Volunteers are needed to help reach out to local businesses to solicit monetary donations, consider becoming a monthly sponsor, or simply spread the word. Every little bit helps us continue our vital work.
