That is the insurance spread on the Space Coast, and most buyers have no idea how wide it gets.

Two homes can sit twenty minutes apart and carry completely different premiums. A newer inland build might run $1,500 to $1,800. An oceanside home on the barrier island can hit $5,000 to $10,000. Roof age, wind mitigation, flood zone, and distance to water move that number far more than the zip code does.

The home itself often changes the math more than buyers expect, so the same budget can stretch a lot further or a lot less depending on what you are looking at.
