A new professional soccer stadium is coming to Brevard County with an 8,000-seat venue and plans for restaurants, retail space, and community events.
The stadium, proposed by the Space Coast Soccer Club, a member of the United Soccer League, aims to become a community asset and anchor a new mixed-use development in Melbourne. Targeting a spring 2028 opening, the complex estimates it could attract around 500,000 visitors annually, thanks to its strategic location near Melbourne Orlando International Airport '
The City of Brevard already has sports facilities that support soccer, such as the City of Brevard Sports Complex, which features a soccer field and is home to the Transylvania Youth Soccer Association. Another venue, the City/County Sports Complex, also has a soccer field. However, Brevard Memorial Stadium, with a 7,000-seat capacity, is primarily used for football and is the home field of Brevard High School Blue Devils and Brevard College Tornados 2 3 4.
