For 250 years, we’ve been doing what Americans do best—building communities, chasing dreams, surviving questionable weather decisions, and insisting we can still grill in a tropical storm.

Here in Florida, we celebrate freedom a little differently:

* We check the hurricane tracker like it’s a sports app
* We treat Publix subs like a national treasure (because they are) 🥪
* And we accept that “summer heat” is less of a season and more of a personality test

Still, nothing beats living in a country where the biggest debate today is fireworks vs. sleep, and whether the HOA will notice the extra flag in the yard.

So here’s to 250 years of independence, resilience, and somehow still choosing to live where the humidity hugs you like a wet blanket.
