Here we go! There is no “may” we are now required to have a contract in place to show a home either virtually or in person.

Thankfully I work for an amazing brokerage that has given us hundreds of hours of training to get us prepared for this. This took effect on Aug 1 and includes current clients that I am working with prior to the law going into effect.

Hello Everyone may I have your attention please! A very important message! This is a Public Service Announcement regarding Real Estate:

As of August 17th, a Realtor (anyone in AZ as all agents here are mandated to be Realtors, but not every state is like this one) CANNOT show you a home unless you have signed an agreement with them. This is Nationwide!!

Starting August 17th a Realtor will not be able to tour a home without you first signing a Buyer Representation Agreement (B.R.A.) or (BA). This will be non negotiable for any real estate agent with a Realtor designation (one who agrees in advance to abide by the Code of Ethics). That agreement is your contract between you and your Realtor saying you will be hiring them to purchase a home and agree to the roles, duties and responsibilities owed to you by your agent and your duties to your agent which will now include compensation to Realtor. This is now a Federal Law!
There are now many new forms that we are learning so when you select a Realtor to work with you, interview them and make sure they up to date on all the new procedures and forms. If you have ANY questions please do not hesitate to call me at (480) 797-0937 or text me.
