Some Buyers Regret Waiting for Lower Rates | KCM
With affordability this tight, waiting for mortgage rates to come down can feel like your only real shot at buying a home. A lot of my buyers feel that way right now.

The thing is, waiting doesn't always work the way you’d hope. In fact, according to a recent survey, forty-one percent of buyers who waited for lower rates wish they’d just gone ahead and bought sooner. Why? Here’s my theory. With everything happening in the economy, inflation, and global events, there’s a lot impacting rates. And all that could actually push them a bit higher.

So, a big drop may not come anytime soon. And holding out longer may not pay off the way you’d like. A trusted lender can lay out your options at today’s rates and how to get the best rate you can. You certainly don’t have to buy now. You should only move when the numbers truly work for you. But at least know all your options first.
