A special mortgage program has just become available to those affected by Hurricane Ida.

If your home or rental was damaged by the storm, you are eligible for a 100% financing FHA loan which means $0 down is needed for the downpayment on a home.

Some of the requirements involved are having a 580 credit score or above, proof of steady employment, your new home must be used for your primary residence for at least 1 year, and it must have been damaged by Hurricane Ida.

This really is an incredible opportunity for those whose homes were affected, or someone looking to leave a damaged rental in pursuit of their first home. Please reach out to me with any questions, I’m more than happy to help in anyway.

For conventional loans, you'll need a credit score of at least 620. But with FHA, VA, or USDA loans, you may be able to qualify with a lower score.
