Week 3 post-op update:
Healing? Great.
Flexibility? Pretty good.
Mental stability? Pending further evaluation.

The good news: I officially graduated to a new wrap instead of the full cast.
The bad news: I’m still not allowed to put ANY weight on this foot for another 3 weeks… which feels slightly disrespectful at this point. 😭

Pain is manageable now, but the real challenge is being forced to sit still.

I miss my people.
I miss my office.
I miss casually walking without planning it like a military operation.

That said… this couch office has become my new headquarters.

And even with the scooter, crutches, wraps, ice packs, and 47 daily emotional support coffees… I’m still working my butt off. 💻☕

Still showing up for my clients.
Still showing up for my mentees.
Still answering calls, texts, contracts, questions, and “can you look at this listing?” messages at all hours. 😂

And tonight was exactly what I needed — a visit with my Jeimy girl. ❤️
We talked shop, talked life, ate pizza, drank coffee, laughed a lot, and for a little while it felt normal again.

Recovery is weird.
But I’m hanging in there.
Slightly unhinged… but hanging in there. 💀🤣

Sometimes one stitch at a time doesn’t make sense.

You look at the tangled yarn, the unfinished rows, the pieces that don’t seem to fit together… and wonder how it could ever become something beautiful.

But then one day, you step back.

And every stitch, every loop, every imperfect little moment comes together exactly how it was supposed to.

Creating something meaningful takes time.

So does healing.
So does growth.
So does life.

And somehow… all those tiny stitches become a masterpiece. 🧶✨

Honestly, this carousel reads like a lender’s villain origin story. 😂
✨ House hunting before getting pre-approved
✨ Lowballing in a competitive market “for fun”
✨ Financing furniture before closing
✨ Opening a new line of credit
✨ Buying a car mid-transaction
✨ Missing deadlines and disappearing for 48 hours to “think about it”

And then everyone wonders why the lender suddenly sounds stressed. 😭

Your mortgage approval is NOT a “set it and forget it” situation.

From contract to closing, every financial decision matters.
Yes… even the “small” ones.
Yes… even the Target trip.
YES… even the “but it was 0% financing” couch. 🛋️
