I have been a Realtor since 1986 started out with C-21 Sandy River Realty (Rumford Branch)as a full time-Part time Broker while working for the State of Maine Department of Labor! Then 6 months later switched over to ERA Leavitt where I earned my Realtor Wings through the prestigious Top Gon Acedemy program where my group set a National record in listings during our 11 week trading program!
Then I retired in December 2002 at 54 and purchased DeSalle’s Motel and RV site at 152 River Road - Mexico, Maine! 3 months later Bob White then the local owner and Designated Broker of C-21 Sandy River Realty closed his branch office brought his staff to Riverside Realty on April 14, 2003 followed by Rachel and Roger Auger former owner of Island Realty in June, 2003! I ran Riverside Lodging and RV site simultaneously while owning and operating Riverside Realty till the end of 2008 when I closed the Lodging and RV site to focus fully of real estate with ten agents! I was President of the Mountain Cojncil of Realtors 2005 & 2006; Realtor of the Year in 2006 and 2013! It’s been a very pleasant and rewarding career! Then I had some medical issues ending up having 3 stents put in June 12, 2023 then my office was hit with the 3rd largest flooding in Maine where I lost 5 out of my 10 rooms then again October 1, 2024 finding a toilet coupling had broken during the preceding night causing extensive water damage throughout the building and finally April 14, 2025 I turned 76 and decided it was time to retire and enjoy more family time etc… So June 30, 2025 will be the official retirement though I semi retired December 31, 2024 not taken on any new listings just cleaning up what i had !

Thanks to my staff over the years, my family and the communities for helping making this such a successful business! I loved every minute (the ups and downs) albeit more ups!!!
