The Orange Blossom Classic returns to Hard Rock Stadium this Labor Day weekend, one of the most established HBCU football rivalries in the country, complete with marching bands, alumni tailgates, and a crowd that flies in from well outside Florida for it.

For guests, it's a full weekend built around one game, tailgate culture, halftime shows, and a genuinely national crowd. For owners, it's one of the strongest single booking weekends of early September, a Saturday-through-Monday holiday stretch with a stadium event stacked on top of it.

The Brazilian Film Festival celebrates its 30th year with ten days of screenings across Miami and Miami Beach from September 3rd , competitive premieres, documentaries, and special programming pulling filmmakers and Brazilian cinema fans from well beyond Florida. It lands right alongside Brazil's Independence Day on September 7, with a dedicated celebration and concert as part of the lineup.

Miami has one of the largest Brazilian communities in the US, and this is the week that shows up most clearly, film, music, and a genuine sense of celebration running through the city's cultural venues.

Every third Friday, Calle Ocho hosts Viernes Culturales, a free evening of art, food, and live music that has run for over two decades in the heart of Little Havana.

Unidos por Venezuela brings Marc Anthony to Kaseya Center tonight for a benefit concert and national telethon, one of the largest gatherings of the Venezuelan diaspora Miami hosts all year. People are flying in for this from well outside South Florida.

Downtown and Brickell fill up fast on nights like this. Our stays in that corridor keep groups close to the arena without splitting across two hotel rooms.
