I love real estate.

The greatest leaders are not those who never fail. They are the ones who choose to change.

Today, while reading Genesis 49, one passage stood out to me.

As Jacob blesses his twelve sons, the greatest leadership blessing is given to Judah.

Not because he was perfect.

In fact, Judah made serious mistakes.

But he did something extraordinary: he acknowledged them, took responsibility, and transformed himself. By the end of his journey, he was willing to sacrifice himself to save his brother.

That transformation changed his legacy forever.

The kings of Israel, including King David, would come from his lineage.

As entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders, our future is not defined by our worst decisions.

It is defined by our willingness to learn, grow, and become better than we were yesterday.

Your past explains you. It doesn’t have to define you.

The greatest transformations rarely happen in moments of comfort.

As I continue reading the Book of Genesis, one lesson keeps returning.

Abraham received promises, but first he walked through uncertainty.

Jacob received a blessing, but first he wrestled through the night.

Joseph received a dream, but first he experienced betrayal, slavery, prison, and years of waiting.

Looking back, I realize that perhaps God doesn’t always answer our prayers by giving us what we ask for.

Sometimes He answers by giving us the opportunity to become the person capable of carrying that blessing.

“I asked for strength, and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.”

Every challenge may not be an obstacle.

It may be preparation.

Trust the process.
